The passing of a 22-year-elderly person in Tripura’s Gomati region on Wednesday, days after he ran off with a young lady and was followed and brought back, has prompted claims that he was attacked by the police and the young lady’s loved ones.
The police distinguished the departed as Goutam Das and said that he had stolen away with the young lady on Saturday. A police group from Nutanbazar police headquarters followed the team and welcomed them back on Sunday.
